Streetscape and pocket park design for urban mixed-use development.
College Town is a mixed-use development that revitalized a 14-acre site on the eastern edge of the University of Rochester’s Medical campus in Rochester, NY. The development includes five multi-story buildings with retail, office, residential, and hotel space, as well as streetscape improvements, pocket parks, pedestrian systems, a parking structure, and surface parking spaces. The project serves as an urban gateway to the city and university, strengthening the surrounding neighborhoods and transforming the area into a vibrant, dense, and urban mixed-use civic place.
