Tim Zigarowicz, AIA has over 20 years of architecture experience and has been with SWBR since 2004, most recently serving as Senior Associate. Principals at SWBR serve as the firm’s senior leadership team, responsible for client relationships, business objectives, strategic vision, and overall growth for the firm.
Tim manages several of our high profile affordable and supportive housing clients including DePaul, Home Leasing, and Rochester’s Cornerstone Group. He currently has approximately 400 units of independent and affordable housing in construction across New York State. He served as the Project Manager on the recently completed Golisano Autism Center, which provides support services from multiple agencies for patients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders in the Rochester area.

In addition to his market rate and affordable housing expertise, Tim is committed to sustainable design practices, with a specific interest in passive house principles. These principles are used to design a building to meet the highest level of energy efficiency while achieving maximum air comfort. He is studying to become a Certified Passive House Consultant in 2020.

Tim received his Associate in Applied Science in Architectural Engineering Technology from SUNY College of Technology at Alfred and his Bachelor Professional Studies in Architecture from University at Buffalo. He resides in Spencerport with his wife and two daughters.
