On April 14, our design team joined Rochester Management Inc. and state and local officials for a ribbon cutting ceremony for Meadow Reserve at Irondequoit Senior Apartments.
“Meadow Reserve at Irondequoit will enable 80 households to age in place in a safe, energy-efficient complex with on-site health and social services, a fitness center, outdoor spaces, and easy access to nearby amenities and transit,” said RuthAnne Visnauskas, commissioner of New York State Homes and Community Renewal.
Developed by Rochester Management, Inc., Meadow Reserve is located on a previously undeveloped parcel located at 2590 Culver Road in the East Irondequoit neighborhood. The complex is accessible by public transportation and conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, retail needs, and health care facilities.
The three-story development offers 77 one-bedroom and three two-bedroom apartments for seniors aged 55 and older, with amenities including laundry facilities on each floor, a lounge, fitness center, landscaped gardens, a rooftop deck, and other outdoor gathering spaces.
The building meets federal ENERGY STAR Program standards and utilizes energy efficient appliances, low wattage lights, low flow water faucets and high efficiency heating systems.
SWBR provided architectural, structural engineering, landscape architecture, and interior design services for the project.
