DePaul Apple Blossom Apartments Breaks Ground in Cheektowaga, NY

Our design team joined DePaul, along with state and local officials, to break ground for Apple Blossom Apartments in Cheektowaga, NY.

The $37 million affordable and supportive housing development will be located on an existing campus on Old Union Road and will provide 110 units of integrated housing for income-eligible tenants. The project will include renovating the existing Apple Blossom building with additional units and the construction of two new buildings. The campus will serve seniors, persons who are Deaf, and those with a mental health diagnosis who are receiving supportive services. Apple Blossom Apartments will feature three buildings named after apples grown in New York State—Honeycrisp, Empire, and Cortland.

SWBR is providing architectural, structural engineering, and interior design services for the project.
