Roberts Wesleyan University Voller Athletic Center Renovation
Repositioning an athletic center.
The renovated Voller Athletic Center reflects the school’s status as an NCAA Division II athletic program, drawing athletes and the community to the facility. The design energized previously underutilized spaces through the development of lounge areas with improved lighting and new graphics that reinforce the Redhawks brand. The unified and branded environment takes advantage of a long corridor and repurposes it into a ‘perch’ where students can work or eat while watching a game in the gym. Seating zones within the corridor visually connect the gymnasium and the lounge with a custom display to showcase Roberts’ athletics history.
