The Village of Fairport has positioned itself as a destination on the Erie Canal with a thriving downtown. Seeking to build on its progress, this update to the 2007 Comprehensive Plan preserves and enhances the village by incorporating best practices to strengthen existing neighborhoods, enhance multi-modal access, and ensure an economic and environmentally resilient Fairport. The plan update enables the village to make near-term decisions by projecting a vision for the community into the future.
