Victor Central School District 2008 Capital Improvement Project
The second phase of the Capstone 2008 project included two major additions: A cafeteria expansion at the Intermediate Building and new science rooms and fitness room at the Senior High School. The renovations touched every building on campus. Renovations to the Victor Education Center included Asbestos Abatement, creation a new GED area, renovation of six new kindergarten classrooms and support rooms to meet current guidelines, new finishes in district offices, new outdoor playground, new lighting and sound systems in the auditorium, replacement of boilers and masonry restoration. Renovations to the Primary Building included new floor finishes in classrooms, new cafeteria coolers, and replacement of classroom countertops.
Renovations to the intermediate building renovations included a large cafeteria addition, a renovation and expansion of the existing kitchen to handle more capacity, and new floor finishes on stairs, in classrooms and in locker rooms. The Jr/Sr High School received new physics and chemistry science classrooms including a prep room, new egress stair addition, a new fitness center, replacement of restroom finishes, and a new varsity baseball concession stand.
