Susan B. Anthony Interpretive Center

Celebrating progress and inspiring action.

Susan B. Anthony’s advocacy for women’s suffrage, abolishing slavery, and equal rights defines her legacy and are still relevant today. The new interpretive center will explore her life and work and inspire those working for liberty, equality, and justice. Located around the corner, the space will supplement the museum with experiential zones including event space, interactive displays, and environmentally controlled historic archives. It will offer interactive exhibits, secure collections storage and management spaces, flexible classroom space, kitchen and retail space. The design complements the neighborhood’s architectural fabric, reflecting its scale and character, ensuring the museum is embraced and preserved by the community.
