South End
This project, aptly named “South End Revitalization,” will provide this historic district of Albany, NY, with a renewed sense of community development and growth.
The project consisted of eight buildings of affordable housing, totaling 56 units, with a mixture of one to three-bedroom units dispersed throughout the neighborhood. Unique elements to mention are the three historic buildings that were restored/reconstructed into multiple apartment units; and two of the buildings are located along a prominent commercial street. This project won NYSAFAH’s prestigious Project of the Year Award.
