The second floor of Nazareth’s iconic Smyth Hall was transformed from a sterile, institutional space into a warm and inviting home for the School of Nursing. The high-tech, hands-on learning environment prepares students with the education and professional skills needed for a successful career in nursing. Clinical experiences in acute, ambulatory, and community-based settings are incorporated into the curriculum through simulation classrooms and laboratories. These spaces provide hands-on learning with sophisticated, computer-controlled, patient simulation mannequins that emulate real-world conditions, which improve learning and retention results.
