Liberty Square Apartments

Liberty Square provides the Batavia, NY community much-needed affordable and supportive housing. Home Leasing, in partnership with Eagle Star Housing, brought in SWBR to design the new four-story building with 55 studios, one-, and two-bedroom apartments.

The community serves households earning 60 percent or less of the area median Income. It also includes a community room, fitness center, and fenced outdoor play area for children. Each apartment has a private porch or a balcony and ample storage. To encourage alternative transportation, the building includes secure, indoor bike storage for the residents.

Eagle Star Housing is providing onsite support services for twenty-eight of the apartments for formerly homeless Veterans. In addition to fully furnished apartments, Veterans are provided household supplies.
