Knitting Mill Apartments

A new housing community breathes life into a vacant structure.

A long-vacant masonry and heavy timber building, originally constructed for the Perry Knitting Company in 1882, has been repurposed into much-needed affordable and supportive housing. Adaptive reuse and new construction are stitched together to create a housing community with enhanced accessibility throughout, where residents find stability and the comfort of being able to age in place.
