University of Rochester Gavett Hall Audio, Music, and Engineering Suite
State-of-the-art recording studio, control room, mixing rooms, and sound design lab.
University of Rochester’s Audio, Music, and Engineering Program gives students the skills they need to enter the rapidly changing field of audio and sound engineering. To accommodate the growing program, the University chose the third floor of Gavett Hall, originally construction in 1929, as its new home. The renovated space includes a new recording studio with larger live rooms, multiple mix rooms and a large control room for instructional purposes.
