The former Immaculate Conception School in Ithaca has been transformed into Founders Way — a mixed-use community featuring affordable apartments for various household sizes and income levels with space for local nonprofit organizations. Nearby amenities include schools, restaurants, shopping, and employment opportunities. Support services are available for young homeless adults and survivors of domestic violence. Four buildings on the nearly two-acre campus include 76 apartments — two converted from a vacant single-family home and two newly constructed three-unit townhouses.
