Amherst College Projects
Founded in 1821, Amherst College features historic buildings, requiring updates as time progresses. Attention was always paid to ensuring these updates closely matched the existing buildings’ aesthetics and historic charm. At the same time, renovations and upgrades were sure to take advantage of cutting-edge, energy saving technology, and efficiency throughout the buildings’ lives. Williston Hall is one of the most impressive, as all the original chestnut floor and roof framing was recycled to provide plank flooring for this project as well as North and South Colleges.
