We are pleased to announce that Corina Folts has been promoted to Senior Interior Designer. Corina, a Certified Interior Designer who joined SWBR in 2014, has consistently showcased exceptional design and management skills, a deep understanding of interior building design, system coordination, and expertise in material and product specification.
“Corina is improving how people live, work, learn, and play through beautiful, thoughtful, and innovative design, skilled project management. and smart constructability solutions,” said Interior Design Manager Diana Kalvitis-Pannone. “She has played a key role in advancing our interior architecture and design expertise and is highly regarded by colleagues, clients, contractors, and professionals across the interior design industry”.
In her new role, Corina will continue to lead and manage interior design projects, pursue business development opportunities, and mentor team members. She is a strategic thinker focused on client relationships, design quality, and team leadership.
Corina recently led the design, construction, and relocation efforts for SWBR’s new corporate headquarters in downtown Rochester. The complex project transformed space in a historic former department store into a modern design studio. Her portfolio also features several award-winning projects including the Golisano Autism Center, Irondequoit Community Center, and Roberts Wesleyan University Golisano Community Engagement Center.
Outside of SWBR, Corina is the VP of Advocacy for IIDA NY. She also works with ASID NY Metro, ASID NY Upstate Canada East, and CIDQ as the Consortium for Interior Design New York to advance the profession in the state and breakdown barriers for NCIDQ Certified Interior Designers. She has been involved in the advocacy effort since 2018.
Corina is a past Rochester Business Journal’s Forty under 40 winner and was recognized with an Excellence in Construction in Real Estate award in 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and lives in Macedon.
