DePaul Veddersburg Apartments Recognized with Award from CSI Rochester
We are pleased to announce that DePaul Veddersburg Apartments has been recognized with the 2024 Value Engineering Award from the Rochester Chapter Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). The award promotes and recognizes efforts and creative solutions to meet project budget demands.
Veddersburg Apartments, named for original settler Albert Vedder, is helping to reinvigorate the east end of the city of Amsterdam, NY. Several vacant and blighted structures along East Main Street were demolished to make way for the three-story building. The building features sustainability features including Energy Star or equivalent heating and cooling equipment, appliances, and light fixtures.
The design team accepted the award at the annual CSI Rochester Annual Awards Dinner at Rochester Museum and Science Center on Friday, May 10.
