“Meaningful design is thinking about the broader implications of building design and how it affects current and future communities.”
As a Project Designer in our Education studio, Darwin assists the team with project drafting and design for higher education and K12 clients. When asked what excites him about the future of architecture, he said, “Due to the increasing cost and environmental impact of new buildings, there is a growing discussion around reuse and planning new buildings for future reuse, which I think is a difficult but necessary decision.”
Darwin spent his early childhood until fourth grade in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Art in Architectural Design and lives in Rochester.
