Auburn Enlarged City School District 2019 Capital Improvement Project

Approved by voters in 2019, the District’s primary focus was to enhance security and accessibility at every school building. The project scope also included improving energy efficiency, daylighting, and installing new HVAC systems to enhance comfort for students and staff. The re-designed front entrances improved security by creating vestibules that guide the flow of visitors through the main offices. This design gives staff a direct line of sight for anyone entering the building. Site improvements were made at every building, including a vibrant and accessible new playground at Genesee Elementary.
