Congratulations to Business Development Director and Senior Associate Lisa Fingar, CPSM, on being named one of American Institute of Architects (AIA) Rochester’s Volunteers of the Year.
The annual award honors chapter members and volunteers who go above and beyond typical involvement and community service in support of the chapter, the architecture profession, and the regional communities. Lisa was recognized for her work with the AIA Rochester Design Awards Committee.
Lisa has been an integral part of our leadership and growth as part of the Upstate NY architectural community for over 25 years. As SWBR’s Business Development Director, she is responsible for promoting our business development initiatives through market research, client experience programs, promotional events, trade shows, and internal coaching and training.
In addition to her volunteer work with AIA Rochester, Lisa has been an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, previously serving on the BOD and as chapter president and participating in national speaking engagements. She has also been active as a community leader with the Girl Scouts of Western NY, Boys Scouts of America Troop 90, and Gates Chili CSD booster clubs and PTA’s. She is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor of Arts in English and resides in Chili.
Lisa will be recognized at AIA Rochester’s annual meeting Thursday, October 26 in Rochester.
