Zion Hill Senior Housing Wins Design-Build Collaboration Award

We are pleased to announce that Zion Hill Senior Housing has been recognized with the 2023 Design-Build Collaboration Award from the Rochester Chapter Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). The award recognizes projects with clear and concise documentation between design and construction teams.

Zion Hill Senior Housing, a partnership between Rochester Management, Inc. and Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, was created to allow aging residents to stay in their neighborhood. Located on vacant urban lots in Rochester, NY, the new 45,000 SF community offers 45 affordable senior apartments, with seven reserved for frail elderly with special needs. The project’s enhanced accessibility features and range of activity spaces allow residents to age in place and provide opportunities for ongoing connection to the community.

The design team accepted the award at the annual CSI Rochester Annual Awards Dinner at Strasenburgh Planetarium on Friday, April 21.
