The Gardens at St. Anthony’s Apartments
Adaptive reuse of an historic church into a modern affordable senior community.
The Gardens at St. Anthony’s apartments in Syracuse, NY is an adaptive reuse project that transformed the historic St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School and Convent, into a modern affordable senior community. The project included two exterior additions and one internal build-out to convert a portion of the original gymnasium space into additional apartments. One of the exterior additions links the two historic buildings via a new centralized, accessible entry with an elevator serving each level.
