Kodak Experience Center

Upon completion of the signature Kodak Center marquee and entrance canopy redesign, the Kodak Experience Center presented a unique opportunity to reinvigorate the historic theater with a multi-purpose space intended to entertain and educate visitors. The Experience Center highlights exhibit space that educates how the Eastman Kodak Company is reflected in Popular Culture, Science and Innovation, People, Community and Markets. Adjacent to the exhibit space are supporting spaces such as Workshop/Classrooms, Café/Retail and an updated ticket office all focused on elevating the public experience.

“The exhibit itself goes through the 130 year history of Kodak, so you’ll see things from film cameras to inkjet printers and commercial printing which is what we do today,” said Kodak CFO Dave Bullwinkle

SWBR worked closely with the Museum Designer, Jack Rouse Associates, to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive environment that simultaneously reflects the branding, values and character of Eastman Kodak Company. The new space has boosted and reinforced a new energy to the Kodak Center theater and to Eastman Kodak company in its entirety.
