SUNY Brockport Fannie Barrier Williams Liberal Arts Building
New liberal arts building modernizes teaching pedagogies.
The building’s design and location improves campus circulation and expands the academic campus to support the library. Blurring the lines between interior and exterior, the building incorporates the site’s natural landscape into its form and function. Flexible classrooms and tiered 200-seat auditorium utilize moving walls, varying furniture styles and the latest technologies. An art gallery, lounges, conference rooms, formal and informal collaboration spaces promote student and faculty interaction. SWBR, as Architect of Record, collaborated with Design Architect Stantec on the project.
