Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center consists of a 48 acre parcel master planned into a five phase project. The first phase includes a three story Assisted Living building and a one story commons building that will serve as the link between the Assisted and Independent populations, and will house activity and support services.
The second phase includes the construction of 16 Small Houses and a commons building, which will contain some administration and support services for the nursing population. The third phase includes a three story Independent Living apartment building, which will link directly to the Commons area and Assisted Living. The fourth phase includes 36 independent living cottages. The fifth phase provides room for growth for both the Assisted Living and Independent Living towers. Adjacent to the developed campus site is a commercial parcel that BHNRC has reserved for a commercial development, such as a bank, or medical office.
Baptist Health is currently located in Scotia, NY. Upon completion of the Small House component, the existing nursing home will be converted into medical offices and affordable senior housing.
