Friday, September 6, 2013

SWBR Architects recently attended the ribbon cutting for the Rochester City School District Enrico Fermi School No. 17. Students were welcomed back this September to the completely modernized school.  The design included a 39,250 SF, two-story addition consisting of a Gymnasium, Cafeteria, Kitchen, Classrooms, Music Rooms, Entrance Lobby and associated spaces.  The project also entailed demolishing 5,700 square feet of temporary classroom structures and a 400 SF corridor.

Major alterations were also designed for the Library, Science rooms, Art rooms, Family and Consumer Science room, and the Main Office. Additional site work includes pavement and sidewalk reconstruction, new parking lots, fencing, playgrounds, play fields and site lighting.

Congratulations to our team on completing  such a great project!
