Donald Naetzker and Joseph Kosiorek, AIA Join SWBR

SWBR is pleased to announce that Donald Naetzker  has joined the firm as Planning Manager and Joseph Kosiorek, AIA, LEED AP, has joined the firm as an Architect and Project Manager.

Don brings 30-years of experience to our planning and landscape architecture group. He will work to expand offerings in urban place-making, revitalization, historic preservation, conservation, recreation, destination tourism, education and urban environmental strategies within western New York and the Northeast. He will bring expanded and comprehensive development services to our clients, including program management, strategic planning, financial analysis and site design. Don will be a key staff member for regional and national growth.

Most recently, Don served as the Project Director and interim Executive Director for the Finger Lakes Museum. He has served as President at Naetzker Urban Works and has worked with LECESSE Construction, The Cavendish Partnership and the Rochester City School District. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from Ball State University and resides in Pittsford.

In his new role, Joe will be responsible for project management and will assist with strategic planning for educational projects, primarily for K-12. He brings extended experience to SWBR, most recently serving as senior architect and manager of architectural services at T.Y. Lin International, where he managed the day-to-day activities of the architectural group, staff and projects. He is licensed to practice architecture in nine states and his specialties include pre-referendum, programming and conceptual design for K-12.  Additionally, Joe serves on the Town of Fairport Panning Board. He received his Bachelor of Professional Studies in Architecture and Master of Architecture from the University at Buffalo and resides in Fairport.
