DePaul Wheatfield Commons Begins Construction

Monday, July 25, 2016

We are the designer for DePaul's new Wheatfield Commons in suburban Niagara County, with 114 beds for assisted-living and memory-care residents. The 55,000-square-foot community is designed as a “country-style” community with dormer windows, French doors and covered porches. All units will have kitchenettes, and suites will have a large bedroom with a living and dining area.

The 80 assisted-living and 34 memory-care residents will have a choice of fully furnished private or semi-private units, and the complex also offers lounges, activity space, a bathing spa and access to a doctor and staff support.

This is the fifth senior living community developed in New York State by DePaul, which provides independent living, assisted living, memory care and respite care. It also operates the Glenwell campus at 2248 Old Union Road in Cheektowaga, as well as facilities in the Rochester suburbs of Canandaigua, North Chili and Henrietta.
